Mouse Enhancement Basics

LinguaX Mouse+ improves pointer and scrolling consistency on macOS.

Key Capabilities​

  • global smooth scrolling
  • extended mouse button support, including MR/ML (right tilt/left tilt)
  • action mapping for mouse workflows
  • virtual button slot mapping (Left, Right, Middle, Button 4, Button 5, MR, ML)

Gesture Types​

Mouse actions can be mapped by gesture type:

  • click
  • double click
  • long press
  • drag direction (up/down/left/right)

Smooth Scrolling Tuning​

  • Speed: scales scrolling travel distance
  • Smoothness: controls inertia and damping feel

If available in your build, use curve preview to compare raw vs smoothed signals.

  1. enable one setting at a time
  2. test in your most-used apps for one full session
  3. keep only changes that clearly improve control

If Behavior Feels Off​

  • temporarily disable overlapping third-party mouse tools
  • re-test with a minimal LinguaX setup
  • adjust incrementally instead of changing many options at once
