Installation
This guide covers the standard LinguaX installation flow.
Requirements
- macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later
- Apple Silicon or Intel Mac
- network access for download
Install from Official Website
- Open Download.
- Select Download Free.
- Wait for the installer to finish downloading.
- Open the downloaded package and follow prompts.
- Move LinguaX to Applications if prompted.
First Launch
- Open LinguaX from Applications.
- Confirm the menu bar icon appears.
- Grant required macOS permissions.
- Continue with First Run.
Update Method
- Download the latest installer from Download.
- Install over the existing app.
- Existing rules/settings are normally preserved.
If Installation Fails
- re-download installer and retry
- check macOS security prompts
- restart Mac if installer state appears stuck
